Welcome to the Webmaster's Blog

Welcome, my name is Marco and I am the website Webmaster.

I became involved with Support Our Troops a few months ago and over the summer I focused on redesigning and adding "community" style features to the site.

Once, Support Our Troops (or SOT for brevity) was basically a one man operation that was very hard to keep updated and it had almost no features to support

• I love my country
• I am a Veteran
• I have the skills to build word class websites

But most importantly, I wanted to be part of this organization and I wanted to build a website that could serve the troops and especially their families.

Some time ago I built and configured this "Blog" engine as well as another feature called "User Home Pages".

Because I have to work for a living, I have not had as much time as I would have liked to publish tutorials and help out those members that may be interested in using those features.

Well, I am inviting those of you who are interested in publishing your own blog or having your own web pages with us to contact me via email and I will do my best to take you through the steps to use these great new features.

I will get back to you immediately if you email me, but please be patient when you start working with them. The idea is that once you know a couple of things and practice a bit, you should be self sufficent.

Also, we need some testers to make sure that others will be able to use these features without a degree from MIT, and I can only accomplish that with your help.
