MY SON IS IN THE UNITED STATES MARINE CORPS, SINCE JUNE 2005.JUST RETURNED HOME IN DEC 2007 FROM A 2 YEAR TOUR IN OKINAWA, JAPAN. CURRENTLY HE IS IN CHARGE OF A RESERVE BATT. IN PITT. PA. 3 HOURS FROM HOME !! HE JUST COMPLETE A PMI COURSE AND HAS PLANS TO STAY IN.
MY BORTHER IN-LAW IS SERVING WITH THE ARMY, CURRENTLY HOME FOR HIS 18 DAY R&R FROM IRAQ, HIS SECOND TIME OVER THERE. HE WILL RETIRE IN 3 OR LESS YEARS.
JUST ORDERED A LICENSE PLATE FOR PA. I AM EXCITED TO RECEIVE IT!!!

I'm a former Marine myself. I spent some time on Okiknockknock too, lots of it in the northern training area (ask your son about the NTA - I guess they still call it that - I'm 50 years old now and things change).

Listen, I just joined and I'm having a hard time figuring out how to post. I clearly see how to reply to other people's posts but I can't for the life of me see how to initiate my own new member post. Since you appear to have successfully done so recently I wonder if you could help me out.
