Following are various news items as of February 14, 2008.    Your help as a forum member in spreading this good news as far as possible beyond the forum and the site is needed and appreciated.

Arizona Support Our Troops! license plate.
On Monday, 2-11-08 the Arizona House unanimously passed the Support Our Troops! license plate.  Great people in a great state taking concrete action to tangibly support those who support all of us!  Thank you Arizona!

Independent Audit.
In January an audit of Support Our Troops®  was completed by  an independent CPA firm and it determined SOT's administrative expenses to be 4.7%.

Popcorn Project.
We have begun the overseas shipments of the $4,883,000 of free popcorn to the troops from all the 50 states.   The first two shipments comprise several tons to the 150,000 +/- US Army combat personal in SW Asia, and several tons to the 25,000 +/- US Air Force combat personal in the SW Asia, and will go out in late February.   More popcorn shipments will be following to personnel in the various branches stationed around the world over the coming weeks.  Each case is marked with the attached "thank you" card from us safety here at home so the troops will know where the popcorn came from.

Forum Open.
The new member forum area on SupportOurTroops.org website is now open.  Hundreds of people have been signing up.   Members are able to create their own website with pictures, blogs and messages in this interactive forum area.  This is a great community area for those interesting in exchanging news and information about how to support those who support all of us, and will be a great asset at the local level in each state as people are able to post messages and coordinate events at their local level.

All Together Now!
The two most important things you can do to help the troops are extremely easy:

1. Email the SupportOurTroops.org website to everyone you know and ask them to join the association as a free member.

2. Get a link to the website put on every other website you can. Work.  Local radio.  Local TV.   Church.  Forums.  Groups. Friends.  Graphic link buttons are posted on the site under How to Help/Link to Us);

Thank you for your support!

Sincerely
Martin C. Boire, Support  Our Troops®
