Iraq Violence Down 55% Since Summer

The average number of insurgent attacks in Iraq decreased by 55 percent, said an Iraqi government press release on Sunday. Since surge operations began in June, al Qaeda attacks are down 55 percent, civilian deaths are down 60 percent, coalition casualties are down 55 percent, and Iraqi forces casualties are down 40 percent.  Learn More1.  Learn More2.
