Pennsylvania Army National Guard Staff Sgt. Amanda Elsenboss started shooting around the age of 8, and earned the coveted President's Hundred tab marksmanship award at age 16.

Today she is a member of the National Guard's All Guard Marksmanship Team, whose members are selected from 54 states, territories and the District of Columbia.She took third place in her team division in the East Coast Full Bore Championships at Camp Butner, North Carolina, last month, and she and the team will represent the National Guard against other U.S. military services in the Interservice Rifle Championships later this month in Quantico, Virginia.
